I started Ice by Issa in 2012.  It's not a happy story but it's one that keeps us going time and time again.  In 2012 after suffering a traumatic incident, I found myself homeless with 2 small children and another baby on the way in a country we didn't know.  I wasn't able to work because of our citizenship so I began making for the public, the same homeopathic jewelry that I had been making for my own kids to help with teething.  The name "Ice By Issa" comes from the jewelry that I was making and how it helped to soothe many ailments.  It took off much quicker than I expected and I found myself at all the craft shows and selling enough to get us out of the shelter and in a place of our own!  Someone had noticed at a craft show that my kids were wearing graphic tees and wanted to know where they came from.  Those tees were shortly after added to my shop.
Though I have created many fun and punny designs throughout the years (and I love them all) the design that has the most meaning to me is one I released in 2018.  It says "girl with the power".  100% of the proceeds from this design are donated to The Coalition against Domestic Violence.  Without the women who lost their lives due to domestic violence and the charities that help the victims, I don't know where I would be today.
My designs are inspired by my kids, 90's music and style from the 60's and 70's.  We like to call it "punny with a vintage flair'
I love seeing my creations on you, your babes and every friend we have made along the way!  When we get tagged on social media or photos shared in our Facebook VIP it reminds me of how I created those items with my own two hands.  It's such a gratifying feeling.
I have 4 kids ranging in age from 6 to 16 years and I am married to my best friend.  When you purchase from my sweet little shop you are truly encouraging my dream and helping to support our family!  So, thank you from the middle of my heart (you don't deserve to be at the bottom).
